On this final day of Movember I've decided not to post a famous moustache, rather a photo of the reason why I've been raising money this month. I want to be around for this little one as she grows up. Movember funds research and support programs for three of the biggest killers of Aussie men - the minor inconvenience of growing an awkward mo' for 30 days is worth it, knowing there's a better chance I'll be around for her with the work Movember do each year.

Just two days to go this Movember, so out comes the big gun...Tom Selleck in Magnum P.I.
The shirts, the cars, the mo, the legend. Nothing more needs be said.
Mo on!

"This deal is getting worse all the time!"

How's your mo' going? Are you past the itchy stage or did you "accidentally" shave mid-way and now just going through itching stage all over again....?

Stay strong, only a few days to go.

Almost there...Day #27 of Movember and today's famous moustache belongs to Hulk Hogan.
Hogan is an American singer and actor, having starred in blockbusters such as Rocky III, Suburban Commando and Mr. Nanny.
His singing career included the album Hulk Rules, as well as lending his prodigious talents to up-and-comers Green Jelly and Dolly Parton.
Hogan also dabbled in professional wrestling between 1984 and 2015. He is seen in this photo suffering a wardrobe malfunction at one of his guest appearances for the World Wresting Federation.

Sweden has given us a few great things over the years; the 3-point seatbelt, IKEA, saunas, the adjustable wrench, no Italy in the 2018 World Cup...and the Swedish Chef. Did you know his name is actually Tom?
Bork, bork, bork!

Today's moustache is courtesy of Mr Snrub, from The Simpsons. 'Allegedly' a disguised Mr Burns, Mr Snrub attended the Springfield town meeting to suggest the $3mil donated by the nuclear power plant for the building of the Springfield monorail, be given back to the nuclear power plant.
Trivial fact, "Snrub" is "Burns" spelt backwards. This proves nothing!!

As we enter week #4 of Movember you might be tempted to have a bit of a trim, but don't be like this guy.... wear safety gloves, ear plugs and a full-face shield

SAY "WHAT" AGAIN!
An incredibly prolific actor, Samuel L Jackson has been in countless memorable movies. His most recognisable role would arguably be Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction.
My personal favourite is possibly Elijah Price from Unbreakable (with Bruce Willis), which will be getting a sequel in 2019, bringing the Unbreakable/Split movies together.

Day #21 of Movember and today we have a man with a name as flambouyant as his moustache, Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Marquis of Dalí de Púbol.
Dali was a painter, sculptor, photographer and performer who primarily created Surrealist art, focusing many of his works around the themes of sex, food, religion and animals.
His famous, upturned moustache was inspired by another great artist, Spanish painter Diego Velázquez.

Fun facts, Dali designed the Chupa Chups logo and had a pet ocelot!

Back on board after a weekend, today's moustache is Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation (played by Nick Offerman).
A man's man's moustache, Ron Swanson looks like he was born with that mo'. Starting his working life at 9 in a sheet metal factory before realising his dream of working with leather at the tannery, age 11, Ron later became the Director of the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department.
He has two ex-wives, Tammy 1 and Tammy 2, the former being the nurse who delivered him at birth, the latter played by Nick Offerman's real-life wife, Megan Mullally.

Well, hi-diddly-ho neighbourino!
How's that mo' going? Has your wife/girlfriend/significant other started to get sick of it yet, withholding facial affections or does she/he love the fuzz?
If the former, just remind them that if they can't handle you at your diddliest, they don't deserve you at your doodliest.
Happy mo' growing, MoBros.

Woah, we're half-way there
Woah, lemon on a pear (lizard on a chair / wizard at a fair / fresh prince of bel-air)
Fund my mo' and we'll make it I swear...

Even this guy's in on the action!

Movember, Day #15.
THE most iconic Australian mo', Big Merv Hughes is a cricketing legend. The 'fruitfly' loved a sledge, a good warm-up stretch and plunging his tongue into an unsuspecting ear. He's also been a great advocate for increasing awareness of men's health issues.
Random fact: That mo' was reported to be insured for $370,000 at one point in his career and when asked in 2013, he vowed to never shave it off.

337 Week(s) Ago

Day #14 of Movember and doe '90s kids know a more iconic moustache?
The original jumpman, we first saw Mario in Donkey Kong as a carpenter who had mistreated his pet monkey. He later became a plumber and moved to Mushroom Kingdom where he continually has to rescue his girlfriend, Princess Peach, from any number of villainous creatures.

We're halfway through Movember, how's that mo' growing? Have you decided which style you're going with, have I helped you with my various profile pics?
Remember to ask for donations too, it's hard to raise money to improve men's health if you don't ask. I'm up to $400, more than halfway to my target of $750 - keep those donations, however small, coming through!!

337 Week(s) Ago

Leaving it late today, been too busy dancing on the ceiling...
Day #13 of Movember 2017, say 'Hello' to Lionel Richie.

337 Week(s) Ago

Day #12 of famous moustachios and here we have John Waters. American film maker, author, art collector...Not the bushiest of mo's, but it definitely would need constant trimming.
Don't forget to stay motivated, we're coming up to half-way. Keep asking for donations, every $ counts.

338 Week(s) Ago

And I literally just realised his hat is designed to resemble a crocodile's mouth!
Captain Hook, here played by Dustin Hoffman, sported this beautifully groomed moustache along with some glorious curls and 17th royal-cum-naval getup. Oh, and that hook - great for carrying buckets, the shopping, moving bales of hay...but not much good otherwise.
Movember Day #11 - Captain James Hook.

Originally starting off as a fake moustache (and eyebrows) with the use of greasepaint, Groucho Marx later ditched the 'makeup' and grew a 100% genuine moustache for his work on You Bet Your Life.
After the HOLLYWOOD sign was damaged in 1978 and a decision was made to completely rebuild it, one of the 'O's was dedicated to Groucho.
One of the great comedians, his suggestion for his own epitath was "Excuse me, I can't stand up".

338 Week(s) Ago

For your moustache appreciation on Day #9, here's Fu Manchu (played by Christopher Lee). Just your stereotypical 'oriental' supervillain - he preferred the use of pythons, fungi and spiders to do his assassinating.
How's your mo' going, have you decided what style you're going to run with?

338 Week(s) Ago

Movember, day #8 and we have another mercurial talent. Lead singer of Queen, Freddie Mercury had a famous voice (four-octave range), fantastic fashion-sense and a well trimmed mo' through most of his career.
Another man taken too soon at just 45 years of age, his music will never be forgotten.
