My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Mental health and suicide prevention

I am participating in Movember in memory of my nephew Christopher whom we lost to suicide 2 years ago and in support of my son Ryan whom is at risk of suicide due to Bipolar Disorder. He struggles with suicidal thoughts and depression and we have almost lost him several times.
Did you know that one man loses his life every minute to suicide? This is wrong! We need to change this.
As men we too often act tough and ignore when something is wrong with us. We are reluctant to seek help when we need it both physically or mentally. Movember gives us a chance to end this. We need to let each other know it’s ok to not be ok, and men have feelings too.. One life lost is one too many. This is our month to come together, to raise funds, and awareness. He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother!
