Happy Movember...

Welcome to year 6 of my Moventure!

I am super excited this year, as I have decided to step up my fund raising a notch by auctioning my time for donations, Every £100 donated gets you 30 mins of my time to do with as you please*

All whilst trying to grow an array of outrageous mustaches, and completing a press-up for every £1 raised to help build awareness for Mens Health.

I would love you to read a little more about why I am doing this, and why it's important to me - along with my hilarious lack of preparation, but plan to overcome this - but also if you can spare some change to help this cause, and create pain in my life, just click the link below:

https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/london-marathon-2022-15695

Every year I have managed to generate great support from friends, family, and colleagues all across the world. I hope in 2023, together, we can raise more than £1500 together for the Movember Foundation.

Movember is the only global charity focused solely on men's health, which is an area of health sadly in decline. I'm raising funds to tackle some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and poor mental health. Help me stop men dying too young!

Across the world, we currently lose 60 men every hour to suicide. I lost my cousin two years ago to mental health illness, and both of my uncles had prostate cancer. I want to raise awareness of these issues to help prevent this from happening to other men all around the world, I hope you can help support me in this cause.

I promise to make this month one full of cringe laughter, so sit back and let my tash take you on an Marauding adventure!

So today is Day 1 of my second challenge for Movember!

After doing the London Marathob last month, next up is a 100km trek across the UAE desert in 4 days. We are just about to head to base camp and get briefings to kick everything off.

To mark the occasion I went for the classic Mexican handle bar, hoping that this would give me the inspiration to h doe the heat….

I’ll be posting more pics along the hike each day, along with my Mo bro.

Here a little round up of my tash metamorphis over the last few weeks, I went from the Micheal to the Hogan, to the trucker, to the spiv and finally to the chaplin!

I hope you enjoy it and thanks for all your support over the last month!

Make sure to keep mens help at the forefront of your minds!

Half Way!

So there we go, the half way mark has passed and I have this hip looking ferrit to show for it. I decided to go for a new look, departing from the George Michael and going to a circle thing....Ok not sure what style this is but its different and I'm on my way to a hulk hogan, minus the bleach!

The itchiness has gone strangely and im feeling good!

Day 12:

Another Day another picture and a little more growth for the mission. I've taken to encouraging a growth stint by tickling the moustache, unfortunately, I have caught myself doing the Dr evil tash stroke more than once today along with other random strangers...oh well, best make the most of my new facial wear!

Hopefully, you can help support the cause and provide a small donation by using the link below. It would mean a lot to me but more importantly to help address the current state of Mens health.

Day 11: Why does it itch so much?

It feels like my face was bitten by a thousand midgeys ahhhh, the upper lip is the worst. I now remember why I only grow this thing annually!

As you can see my attempt to craft the 'George Michael' Goatey may still need some work, but I do request you all keep a little 'Faith' in me.... I was thinking of chopping off the bottom section and leaving just the handlebars but I am unsure, once I start removing it I can't put it back. Any thoughts?

Also in an effort to try and increase donations, I was also thinking of colouring my tash for you all, perhaps a nice pink, blue or a red, white and blue banner?

Hi Guys,

I had some internet issue for this first week of November due to my travels. However, that still hasnt stopped me from growing my mustache and proudly taking some selfies for you all to enjoy.

Im happy to do almost any pose for cash donations and can provide you with your own personalised mustache selfie or video should you choose. Just post below on facebook or linkedin and let me know!

From now on you should see a new photo pop up every couple of days, no need for less than this given that glaciers advance and recede quicker than this thing!

Thanks very much for all your donations!

Alex
