Join Me (Once Again) in Changing the Face of Men's Health This Movember

Every whisker grown and every stride taken this Movember is a personal tribute to the fathers, sons, brothers, grandfathers, uncles, partners, and friends who face the silent battles of men's health issues. Our moustaches are more than just facial hair; they are the banners we wave in support of those who have fought, those who are fighting, and those who have yet to fight.

Movember holds significant meaning for me and my family, like many families, we have lost beloved men in our family, who passed away too soon. Most recently, we mourned the death of my Uncle Leo, who succumbed to prostate cancer on January 22, 2020. He was the eldest of four brothers and became the main pillar of our family, after we lost my grandfather to heart disease in 1975 when he was just 56 years old. My thoughts often drift to him, especially during Movember, which reminds me of the difficult times he faced and the suffering he went through battling such a horrific illness. My participation in Movember is fueled by the desire to prevent others (and their families) from suffering.

While riding his beloved Harley, I find myself conversing with him, seeking advice or simply expressing how much he is missed. Riding the same bike he once did makes me feel closer to him. He used to ride alongside my father, and now I continue the tradition, with my father by my side. I am grateful to have many important men in my life, especially my father.

Your support means everything. Whether it's a donation, a word of encouragement, or sharing our cause, you're part of a movement that's changing the course of men's health. Together, let's break down stigmas, open up conversations, and ensure that our loved ones have the resources they need to live happier, healthier, and longer lives.

I want to give a heartfelt thanks to my past contributors. Your generosity has enabled me to collect more than $4,000 throughout various Movember campaigns, which is incredibly meaningful. To everyone who has supported Movember, whether it was through my efforts or someone else's, please understand that your donations and encouragement are truly valued and will be put to good use.

Thank you for being here, for showing your support, and for helping to spread the word.

Let's make this Movember count!

Glad you’re on this Blaine, important to keep the work going. One of the few chances we get to donate to mens health.
