My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Every minute, somewhere in the world, a man dies by suicide. That's 60 fathers, brothers, friends, colleagues, loved ones an hour.

This year, more than any in which I've taken part in Movember, seems especially important to continue the conversation around mental health. Charities across the globe need our help in the wake of a global pandemic. To contribute, I'll be moving and talking again. Reaching out to people to have even a 5 minute conversation about how they are doing.

With Ireland moving into a lockdown for November, staying in touch with people will become all the more important. Staying active and healthy will be vital to most of us in an effort to stay on top of our mental health. So, I'll keep moving and keep reaching out.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
