My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Globally, the rate of suicide is too high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Help me stop men dying too young.

Today on the last day of Movember, I give my final update. While unsuccessful at hitting our KM target, we have overachieved in our monetary target! Thank you to everyone who donated, reached out, complimented the 'stache and to all who had a conversation about Men's mental health. As I reflect on Movember 2021, I encourage everyone to keep having the tough conversations and enacting change where you can. Keep going. Let's do this together.

Hey all! mustache growth is coming in nicely but still very creepy! We're more than halfway through Movember and I've challenged my team members to make our introductory safety moments related to men's mental health. If you can, start a conversation with someone you love, someone you like or someone you connect to. One conversation can go a long way.

Into week #2 and definitely more stubble than stache. Appreciate the donations we're getting and glad you can admire a fine mustache.

So last week, I challenged colleagues to have a conversation with someone about mental health. The simplest way is, usually in a private setting, asking "how you doing- no, like really, how are YOU doing?". The responses will vary, but having an honest convo with one person once a week is another informal goal of mine. It might not be for everyone, but it doesn't hurt.

Let's do this together.

As Movember wraps up, we'd like to thank our contributors to this great cause. Together we raised $930! Here's one last scraggly picture of this great (?) mo' taken by my forever teammate.

My one ask is to please keep the conversation about Men's health, especially Men's mental health, going well past Movember. And to the Gents: open up more, have the tough conversations and reach out when you need to. You owe it to yourself.

Just past the halfway mark in Movember, and the handlebars are filling out nicely! Thanks to everyone who's donated already, as this is where your support has gotten us!

Your support also goes towards funding more than 1250 men's health projects globally. A huge part of this is working on mental health, which affects more men than statistics can accurately capture. If donating isn't your thing, start a conversation with someone you love and ask them how they're doing. It goes further than you can imagine.

So after a full week of growth, we have the beginning of a terrible mustache! Thank you to Diego, Mel, and Jane for your generous contributions! Special thanks to Felesha & Nikita for sharing my link on their Facebook Pages. I hope we're also looking up the facts on Men's health & that men who detect prostate cancer early have a 98% survival rate! So get checked out early, at 50 if you're of a lower-risk group and at 45 if you're a higher risk group. Those that are higher risk are men who have a history of prostate cancer and people like me, who are of caribbean descent. Let's keep moving forward and spreading awareness!

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
