Speak Out to Help Out - start 'that conversation' with your mates, normalise it.

On an individual level - mental health should be seen as an opportunity. A chance to comprehend, befriend & enjoy the only person you are always with.. yourself.

"Everything has cracks in it: that is how the light gets in" Leonard Cohen

An extract from a recent essay I recently wrote on Mental Health:
"The Brain is an unknown, untamed yet unmatched bit of kit - it can make you feel weird or amazing just by sending a pulse to the body - Mind bending (excuse the pun). Essentially just a ball of what looks like coral, yet the most powerful engine & a sophistication beyond all comprehension - possibly the most inspiring item on this planet.
How to tame that thing ? .. Well you can start with listening to it, coming to terms with its messaging. One will never fully understand the brain, yet you can befriend it.
It can appear to be against you, yet in reality it is trying to protect you. When overwhelmed - listen to those thoughts, let them in - “why am I thinking that ? Does it matter ? Do I even care”
There are different parts (voices / personalities) of the brain that need tending to. Let me know if you'd like to read more.

My moustache is a token of support for myself and everyone else in the World - we all have our turbulent times & together we are stronger. The money raised will contribute towards normalising 'the conversation' - giving people a brighter perspective and ultimately - preventing and saving lives.
Speaking out is always the best option - however seemingly large or small the feeling of overwhelm - "it is okay to not be ok!” .

Speak out to Help out !

A cause that has an effect, directly or indirectly, on all of us at various stages!
The more we can do to combat Mental Health problems and get people realising there are cures & methods to make life smoother; the healthier for everyone.
"It is okay to not be okay". It's better to talk about personal mental health and search / find solutions rather than things to spiral out of control, leaving one feeling lost and helpless.
Additionally, prevention and cure for testicular cancer & all other cancers is of paramount importance. Too many lives are lived below the enjoyment level that should be experienced and too many lives are lost to cancer and mental health issues.
My moustache will not only raise money for treatment & prevention but also show support to those that need it most.
Speaking out is better than bottling things up - we are all different and as previously referenced; "it is okay to not be Okay".
