Thank-you for your commitment and support.

We've now arrived at Movember 30 and everyone in this challenge should pause for a moment to reflect on an amazing job done, what can only be described as an epic 'stache and an impressive commitment to help change the face of men's health.

As Mo season is coming to a close, I want to flag that the leaderboards will officially close on Thursday, December 7th at 5 pm EST, marking the moment we crown our 2023 Movember champions of each challenge. While donations can still be received after this time, please note that they won't contribute to the leaderboard race.

Thanks for all you have done this year and will continue to do as we move forward.

Every year I shave off my beard in support of Men's health. There are many great men in my life that are inspiring me this year specifically. Most notably, my father, who is currently battling cancer, and my Opa, who passed away yesterday morning after a long and hard fight with Alzheimer's disease. As the Movember Manager for the EUS I'd like to take the opportunity to make this year count, but I need help.

The Movember Foundation is all about raising awareness of men's physical and mental health. There is so much that goes unspoken about mental health because it's not "manly" to do so. This month I'd like everyone to spend some time thinking about their own health, and checking in those around you. Men and women alike, we can all do better for ourselves and each other.

This Thursday at 5:30PM in the Engineering Student Center I will be at the official EUS Movember Kick-off Party. The event includes a celebratory shave-off and a live auction with over $300 in gift cards, gift baskets, and brewery tours to be collected. I'll be asking for some help in getting rid of my beard this year, a $5 donation will permit you "one snip" off of my beard, hopefully by the end of the night my chin will see the light of day for the first time in a year, and I'll have a good kick-start to my fundraising for the month.

Mo' on my mo-bros and mo-sisters.
